Robert L. Hawkins, Jr. is the Founder and Principal of Hawkins Counsel Group, LLC.

Unlike most business law attorneys, Mr. Hawkins brings over 25 years of professional and practical business experience to the practice of law.  He has served as a Board member and leader of several non-profit organizations and has successfully operated multi-million dollar business units in the for-profit sector, handling such diverse issues as:

• corporate governance
• organizational structures
• copyright issues
• complex contract negotiations
• international agreements
• real estate transactions
• financial management
• land development projects
• business development

After working closely with attorneys on the client side of these and many other legal issues, Mr. Hawkins obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law.  He graduated cum laude in the top 10% of his class and founded the law school's Journal of Law Economics and Race.   He also received his certification in Business Organizations from the  Institute of Delaware Corporate Law.  Mr. Hawkins has taken the experience that he gained from his work in billion dollar organizations like Time Warner and World Vision, and combined it with his legal expertise to provide his clients with superior results.
